The decision to buy stablecoins often starts with an amount.
“We have fiat available. What can you deliver?”
A workable discussion also needs to establish where the digital assets will go and what they must be suitable for when they arrive.
Start with the purchasing entity
Identify the owner of the bank account funding the purchase and the entity acquiring the stablecoins. Explain any difference between them before requesting execution terms.
A group treasury payment, a shareholder contribution and a purchase for an operating company are different commercial explanations. The documentation should reflect the actual arrangement.
The funding currency matters too. A USD purchase and a GBP-funded purchase may involve different pricing components. The brief should state both the fiat available and the token required.
Define the deliverable precisely
USDT and USDC are separate assets. The requested network is part of the deliverable, not a detail to choose after the purchase.
If the stablecoins are intended for a particular custody environment, settlement provider or later transaction, its requirements need to be checked in advance.
The question is not simply whether the client can receive a token. It is whether the destination can recognise and use the exact asset delivered.
For example, a treasury team planning a subsequent approved payment should establish the recipient’s accepted asset and network before instructing the initial purchase. Otherwise, another conversion may be required.
Connect funding, quotation and delivery
The agreement should explain when funds must arrive, when the price becomes binding, what conditions remain outstanding and what constitutes delivery.
If the purchase amount is fixed in fiat, the client needs to understand the resulting net token quantity. If the required token quantity is fixed, the fiat requirement needs to be established on the agreed terms.
A preliminary indication should not be treated as an executable price merely because the client has approved the budget internally.
Build around the next use
Our institutional conversion review considers the funding position and receiving arrangement together. The supporting capabilities include fiat-to-USDT and approved stablecoin or conversion routes; the particular asset, network and counterparty must fit the accepted file.
A purchase intended for treasury, settlement or a separately approved programme will have its own practical requirements. Conversion approval does not establish acceptance into the next transaction.
For an initial review, send the purchasing entity, funding currency and amount, desired token and network, custody arrangement and intended use. Include any deadline already agreed with another party.
For the broader service context, the XSWAP family and institutional capabilities overview places conversion alongside the other routes available for qualified review.
