Define the purpose of your capital before choosing a funding structure, from acquisitions and business growth to asset ownership.nd want to understand the routes available around it.
The useful starting point is the same: what do you want that position to achieve?
That answer shapes the conversation. An asset purchase with a fixed completion date creates different requirements from a development funded over several stages. A client who needs distributions soon has a different brief from someone able to maintain an allocation for a longer term.
The XSWAP family brings together several programme routes and supporting institutional capabilities that can be reviewed against those objectives.
Start with the position
Before discussing a route, we need to understand the asset, the amount, who owns it and how it is controlled.
The jurisdiction matters. So does the period for which the position can remain committed. A balance that will be needed elsewhere next month has to be assessed differently from a separately allocated position that can meet a longer contractual term.
This initial work helps identify whether there is a suitable route to take forward for review.
Understand which type of transaction you need
The family includes controlled-entry and short-cycle XSWAP routes, RemoteX, and larger institutional derivative and BTC-specific structures.
Alongside these sit separate capabilities for conversion, on/off-ramping, secured lending, bank instruments and bespoke asset or project requirements.
Each serves a different purpose. A conversion exchanges one asset for another. A secured loan creates a borrowing obligation under the lender's terms. A sale requires delivery and settlement.
Under the core placement model described in the XSWAP family overview, the qualifying client position supports the desk's facilities, with realised output allocated under the agreements. The custody or wallet arrangement depends on the selected route.
Those differences should be understood before considering any allocation.
Give the distributions a purpose
Where a suitable programme produces distributable output, the agreed uses may include business expenditure, project milestones, treasury reserves or an asset acquisition.
The intended use should be discussed at the outset. Who receives the distributions? In which asset? Is there a project funding cap? What needs to remain in reserve?
Answering those questions makes the proposed structure easier to assess against the commercial objective.
My role is front-office intake, due diligence and programme structuring: understanding the file and preparing it for the relevant desk's consideration.
If you have a qualifying capital or asset position and a defined objective, send me a short outline of the asset, approximate amount, jurisdiction and what you want to achieve. That gives us a useful place to begin.
Any route remains subject to qualification, current availability and definitive agreements. Output and timing are not guaranteed.
