A larger capital position often brings a longer list of commercial requirements.
A family office may want a recurring distribution profile. A corporate may be considering a dedicated treasury allocation. A sponsor may have a project whose expenditure is spread over an extended period.
Tier 1 Derivative is described in our overview as a longer-term institutional route for larger qualifying positions, with an indicative working minimum around US$50 million.
Whether it can be considered depends first on the relevant line being open and the trader accepting the actual file.
Begin with a maintainable allocation
The review considers the asset, beneficial ownership, source of funds, jurisdiction and approved wallet or banking arrangement. The client also needs to establish that the contracted position can remain available for the full term.
This is particularly relevant when a corporate has other commitments against its treasury. The amount presented for review should be the allocation it can genuinely maintain under the proposed agreement.
The overview allows review of stablecoin, BTC and approved fiat-related positions. The accepted asset and verification route are specific to the contract; one asset's procedure cannot simply be applied to another.
Connect recurring distributions to a defined purpose
The overview describes bi-weekly or monthly distribution profiles. A client should have the precise meaning and dates stated in the proposed contract, along with deductions and the settlement asset.
Where output is intended for a project, the project instructions need to establish which recipient receives it and how it may be used. The qualifying principal and the project budget remain distinct.
Potential distributions can form part of a planning discussion, but they are performance-dependent. A fixed business obligation needs to be assessed with that uncertainty in mind.
Confirm the line before building the plan
An overview can explain a route. It cannot reserve it. Accepted amount, term, start date, control requirements and commercial terms need written confirmation from the relevant principal.
If you have a substantial position that can be maintained over a longer period, send the asset, allocation, jurisdiction and intended use. Include the time horizon and any restrictions affecting the position.
Tier 1 Derivative is not continuously available. Acceptance, output and timing are subject to the live agreement; no performance is guaranteed.
